Any incoming email that is not recognized by your ‘white list’
would be bounced back to the sender with a message directing
the sender to a website where they could purchase a ‘charity stamp’
for a small fee - between 5 and 25 cents.

The proceeds would go to charity. The charity stamp would be a
10-digit code that allows the email to pass through the software to
your email client.

This would kill sp^am almost overnight.

Why?

Because sp^ammers have an extremely low conversion rate - as
little as one sale for every 10,000 emails. But that doesn’t worry them,
because they send millions of emails at a time - and it costs them
nothing. Now multiply 2 million emails by 5 cents per email - Joe Sp^am
is out of business!

The flood of sp^am that is now choking up the Internet only proves
what economists have long been saying - any resource that is free
and unregulated becomes exploited to the point where no one can
use it anymore.

64% of the respondents (up from 51% in the previous year) thought that staff morale could be improved with dental benefit schemes. About 56% thought that they would see a reduction in sickness absence with such schemes and 54% thought they would make it easier to recruit and retain staff.

Of the 56% employers who currently offer dental health schemes, half thought of it as a way to reduce absence for dental health problems and 48% found it easier to keep a track of leaves taken for dental appointments. Thus, the introduction of these schemes was beneficial to employers as well, says James Glover, Corporate Director at Simplyhealth.

Mr. Glover pointed to cost and complexity as main barriers in the implementation of dental benefits schemes in companies. He said that employers who believed in the well-being of their employees would seriously make provisions for the availability of good dental treatment, as access to these services on their own is very difficult for the employees.
