Getting dealt low connectors is an iffy poker proposition. It’s a high-risk, high return investment, and you want to risk as little as possible to make the most profit possible. You aren’t likely to make a killer hand playing poker online whether you get a pair suited or not, but if you do, you’ll have a good chance of fleecing everyone else at the table. If you are dealt some low connectors like a 4-5, look for your chance to get into a cheap pot. If no one else is raising and you don’t think it’ll cost more than the blind, pay to see a flop. If you draw dead, you didn’t lose much, but if you manage to draw a big hand like a set, a straight, or even a full house (it’s happened), you’ve got the entire table right where you want them.

No one else will have expected anybody to play 4-5, so no one will put you on the big poker hand that you’ve got, so you’ll be able to suck everyone into to pot for more money as the hand develops. You might even luck out and have someone pair their face card and try to buy the pot.
