Pay Per Click tips will help you target specific audiences, reaching over 85% of all Internet users in a cost effective and immediate way.

Over the last 3 years we have seen a growth in the Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Search Engine model. This was initially fashioned by Overture, but has quickly been followed by a whole host of Pay Per Clicks.

The concept is extremely simple. You bid on words that surfers who would be interested in your website’s content would use to search on. For example, if your website was about gardening…you may bid on the words “garden care” or “lawn care” etc. When someone searches on the words “garden care”, the search results are returned in the order of the bids placed; so a website with a 60 cents bid would rank higher than one for 55 cents and so on.

Obviously, you will want to make sensible bids that your business can sustain. The best way to know what is affordable is to look at your website stats of visitors against your sales. If your profit last month was $1,000 and you had 400 unique visitors your profit per visitor (PPV) would be $2.50. If you had 20000 unique visitors your PPV would drop to $0.50. This is a rule of thumb as not all visitors are equal - some visitors are more qualified than others and visitors from PPC Search Engines are often the most qualified around. these Pay Per Click tips will help you.

PPC Search Engines are the best valuable advertising currently available. If you write a good website and expert title and descriptions with your listings, qualifying your visitors is a relatively direct task. How can you make the most of PPC search engines…great question and here are 5 more excellent tips!

1. Watch for Bidding Gaps
What’s the point in bidding 25 cents for position 1 when 12 cents will do? Not a lot is the answer, but I see it every day. In fact the worse gap I saw was $11 when $1.03 would do. Make sure the bid you make is sensible by closing bidding gaps. You can save a considerable amount of money by closing those bidding gaps. In fact this can save (or stretch) your budget by up to 70%.

2. Premium Listing…as easy as 1,2,3
PPC Search Engines often engage in alliances with “free” search engines so results are displayed across a “family” of search engines. As of writing this, Overture had numerous alliances, including with Alta Vista, Ask and Yahoo!. The catch is you need to show up in the top 3 on Overture to be displayed on other search engines. You only pay for clicks directly with the Pay Per Clicks you go with, so all the other clicks from Yahoo! or Alta Vista etc. are free. Consider it a bonus.

3. Increasing Your Return On Investment (”ROI”)
We have already said that writing relevant titles and descriptions will filter the qualified from the unqualified surfer. However, there is one other thing to consider. When searches are returned many surfer will instantly click the number one bid; it’s a habit I suppose. Often the number one bid is not relevant to their needs or they wish to compare two or more web sites. The result for the webmaster of the top ranked web site, is a high number of clicks and a lower ROI compared to position two and three. Positions two and three can be a fraction of the price of the most popular term. Provided you bid on a lot of the slightly less popular terms, you usually can get just as much traffic, and sometimes more, as if you bid on the leading term - and for a lot less money too.

4. Landing Pages
Think about the keywords you are bidding on and give the surfer what they want. Don’t just let them land on your home page. The surfer is less likely to get distracted when you give them what they want rather than leave them to their own devices. It you are promoting a particular product, make sure the surfer is taken straight to it. This is an important Pay Per Click help tip.

5. Don’t Delay
The sooner you start Pay Per Click advertising, the sooner you’ll start getting traffic. With most Pay Per Clicks, the bids are rising not falling. Again, with most Pay Per Clicks including Overture, when two or more bids tie, the first bidder is given priority. This is especially important if you plan on bidding on a lot of terms or when 3 or more bids are tied.

And there you have it. These 5 tips build of the first 5 tips from Part 1 of this article.

Happy bidding.

I love words. They are tiny windows from which our Soul shines through. Even the most un-educated among us has choices in words. So how do we choose our words?

It is my belief that our true identity, Soul, directs our mind and tongue to use one word and not the other, when both words would convey the same meaning. In these tiny preferences lie glimpses into our heart, our beliefs, our fears and our hopes.

When we say, winding down instead of relaxing, or wound up instead of tense, our fascination with time shows and perhaps our fear of mortality. We choose these words as reminders to ourselves to be watchful.

“What does all this have to do with wrist watches?” you ask.

In my view, everything.

Wrist watch is a portable timepiece designed to be worn. Its history goes back to shortly after 1500, when Peter Henlein, a locksmith in Nrnberg, Ger., introduced the mainspring as a replacement for weights in driving clocks.

Looking back over the last forty years, I can see how things have sped up and I can imagine how laid back events were over 500 hundred years ago. There weren’t any soccer moms who had to rush from game to game in their SUVs. No 7 AM meetings across town through a hellish traffic that seems to get worse by the minute. No rushed five minute snack breaks to give us the energy boost we need to keep our zone diet. No Hollywood to show the latest Cartier watch or Baume Mercier watch on the shapely wrists of the most beautiful people in the world.

Why then the need for a portable timepiece called watch?

On the surface, we can say Peter Henlein introduced the mainspring as a replacement for weights in driving clocks. According to Britannica, “A mainspring consists of a flat spring steel band stressed in bending or coiling; when the watch, or other spring-driven mechanism, is wound, the curvature of the spring is increased, and energy is thus stored.

In a watch, this energy is transmitted to the oscillating section of the watch (called the balance) by the wheel train and escapement, the motion of the balance itself controlling the release of the escapement and consequently the timing of the maintaining impulse. A friction drive to the hands is provided from a wheel that rotates at a convenient rate, generally one time per hour. The friction drive permits the hands to be set.”

Fascinating enough to put me to sleep, I don’t know about you. The short version is that Peter Henlein found a way to move the clock handles so that they don’t take so much room. He was on the way to help us all watch time fly on our wrist, twenty four hours a day.

This ability to know the exact time brings with it a curse and a blessing.

A curse if we think about all the lost opportunities and all the missed goodbyes. A blessing if we consider that we live and we still hope and dream and with a little self discipline and a lot of help from the Divine, we can use our wrist watch to measure all the hellos we say, all the I love yous and all the contributions we make by just being who we are.

I love the idea that we exist because God loves us. Not particularly because we do wonderful things with every minute of every day, but simply because we are who we are.

Next time you check what time it is, I hope you look beyond the small handle and big handle and the wonderfully expensive watch makers and the rushed pace of life that carries us from one meeting to the next. I hope you can remind yourself that maybe it is time to say thank you to some one for just being there, smile at another because life is precious or pick up the phone and call your mate to just say, “I love you.”

If I ever feel pride in wearing a wrist watch and use its chime, it is for these reasons. How about you? Why are you wearing your watch?

A corporate logo design should be highly instrumental in building your corporate identity and should successfully exude the company’s attitude. The viewers must have some idea about the disposition, character, or fundamental values of your company through your logo.

Following certain basic principles can ensure that your corporate logo design is professional easy to remember and creates a great impact on its viewers while successfully expressing the nature of your business.

Go for Professional Logo Designers
You might save a few dollars doing your own logo or getting it done from the next door boy who knows the basics of designing but if you are serious about your business you should always go for a professional logo design firm. Your corporate logo is your identity, your customers recognize you by your logo, so the more professional and sophisticated your logo is the better will be your customer’s impression about your company.

Though most of the logo design companies charge exorbitant rates to create a corporate logo design but the industry is changing. These days there are companies that offer excellent professional logos for nominal charges (e.g., http://www.mycorporatelogo.com)

Simplicity - Keep it Simple

An ideal corporate logo design should be simple and memorable. Corporate houses spend thousands of dollars to ensure that customers remember them at all point of time and a simple logo is the key to that. Think about the Nike logo, it’s simple and memorableonce you see the Swoosh, do you ever need to think twice about the company name?

Colors

Colors you use for your corporate logo are a very important factor in your brand establishment. If you already have your corporate colors ask your logo designer to use those colors for the logo. If you don’t, suggest the colors that you think might give your prospective clients some idea about the type of business you do. For example, a company working in the fields of forest conservation might like their logo to be in green. At the same time, you also need to consider which colors will go well with your corporate stationeries as well.

Black and White version

While emphasizing the colors we must also remember that it is important for a corporate logo to come out well in black and white. A corporate logo design is used in all corporate communications including fax and photocopied document where they will be in black and white and the logo design must be such that it holds the same impact even in black and white.

Minimize Colors

This is more important from an economic and usability point of view. Corporate logos are often required to be printed for stationary and corporate literature. Using a one or two spot color logo can save a lot of cost compared to printing a full color logo.

Logo Format

It is advisable to always use a vector format for your corporate logo design. A corporate logo may be required to be reproduced at any size for different purposes in the future. A logo design done in vector format can be expanded to any size without any loss of image quality, where as a corporate logo in raster format will loose image quality, if scaled up. Also it is easier to convert a vector logo design to bitmap than vice versa.

If you get a professional logo design firm to do your corporate logo and brief them about this basic tips (most of the knowledgeable firms are well aware of these principles) you are sure to get a satisfactory corporate logo design that would go a long way in helping you establishing your brand.

Use your Logo:

Once you are ready with your corporate logo start giving it maximum exposure possible. Not only on your business cards and letterheads but also on your packaging, uniforms, pens and all possible goods should contain your logo. This gives wider exposure to your logo and people gets familiar with the corporate logo much faster. With all these you are on your way to establish your brand.

Being our next door neighbor, Mexico can sometimes
be forgotten about when it comes to choosing a
cruising vacation. After all, why go to Mexico when
the tropical paradise of the Caribbean is right on
our doorstep? If these are your very thoughts,
then why not take some time out to uncover the
delights that await you on a Mexico cruise. What
you discover will surprise and fascinate you…I
guarantee it!

The majority of cruise lines operate Mexico cruise
round-trips from the ports of Los Angeles and
San Diego. The main points of interest
(cruise-wise) in Mexico are to be found down the
western coastline. Mexican cruise destinations
on the Gulf of Mexico side are catered for by
Caribbean-oriented cruise vacations departing
from Galveston, New Orleans and some ports in
Florida.

From the Californian ports a wide choice of Mexico
cruises are available through several different
cruise lines. These vary from a short 3-night
cruise that takes in one Mexican port of call
- Ensenada - before heading back, to 14-night
cruises down to Acapulco and back.

Ensenada is in Baja California. It is less than
100kms from San Diego and is the third largest
city on the Baja Peninsula of Mexico. The city
is a tourist hotspot, attracting many people
from all over the world to its shops,
restaurants, beaches and wineries. One ‘must-see’
attraction here is the La Bufadora natural
blowhole, which spouts ocean water a full 35ft
into the air!

Further down the coast on the Mexican mainland
is Mazatlan. Miles of beautiful golden sands
lined with palm trees await at this port of
call, aptly named as the Pearl of the Pacific.
Fine restaurants, nightlife and shopping can be
enjoyed in Mazatlan, as well as a whole host of
watersports and land-based sports activities.

Puerto Vallarta is another popular port of call
on a Mexico cruise, where more excellent beaches
and fine restaurants await. From this port,
shore excursions up into the spectacular
mountains behind the city can be taken. The city
of Guadalajara and its fine Mexican heritage
can easily be reached from Puerto Vallarta.

The furthest point that most cruise lines will
sail to on a round-trip is the dream destination
of Acapulco. Known as the ‘Hollywood’ of Mexico,
Acapulco has everything from water parks and
balloon rides over the city, to rock diving and
a complete raft of watersports activities. There
are excellent restaurants, great shopping
opportunities and a buzzing nightlife to enjoy
too. Be warned though, once you’ve visited
Acapulco you may become addicted to the place!

With all this to enjoy, and much more besides,
Mexico really is a top cruise destination that
should be on everyone’s travel itinerary. Just
kick off those work shoes and enjoy the good
life!

Interestingly, ergonomics though sounds to be a modern and trendy phenomenon, its principles are based on primitive life style. It is a known fact that earlier generations did not have to face a whole lot of medical complications that our generation is facing. Some of the factors that contribute to these medical complications are associated with our poor work conditions and our unhealthy life style which our forefathers and mothers instinctively avoided. We are running short of that life saving instinct. They knew how and how not an action is to be performed, when and when not something can be done easily. They were attuned to nature and to their own bodily nature. They were sensitive to the bodily cues and were able to modify their actions and hence lead a healthy life.

However there is a wide new awakening in this area in the form of Ergonomics. The word Ergonomics finds its root in Greek. “Ergon” in Greek means work and “nomoi” means law or rule. So ergonomics means law of work. Ergonomics is a branch of science that deals with the design of objects, systems and environment. Though can be mislead by the etymological meaning of the word, it is not limited to work but generally physical actions including sports and leisure activities of human beings. Ergonomics is not a stand-alone branch of science like many other branches science. Ergonomics relies on the principles of many other branches of science including, psychology of human beings, anatomy and physiology and also on results of cultural studies. Ergonomics seeks to produce a job environment that will help people to operate in their optimum levels and increase efficiency by increasing comfort in work and reducing fatigue. For example, a 6 feet tall individual cannot be comfortable in a low car where he or she has to place himself or herself in unnatural bodily postures that will result in fatigue that would even undermine the safety measures. This means that a car has to be designed to accommodate a six feet tall individual to drive comfortably without straining oneself.

Studies have proved that ergonomically designed products reduce stress at work places. This applies especially to people who work in the IT industry. Many psychological disorders have been associated with people who work in poor IT environments. This has lead to an in depth study on how to reduce the anomalies, which in turn has lead to the booming market of ergonomically designed IT products. Some of the computer accessories that are designed using ergonomic principles include, vertical mouse, ergonomic keyboard, adjustable computer furniture and the list extends.

While it is good to choose ergonomically designed products for your use, you have to be careful in choosing a genuine product. Because, there are lot of products that markup their price at an exorbitant rates in the name of ergonomic products. It may not be necessarily so - ergonomic product need not necessarily look too different from the one’s that are already in use. We often wrongly associate ergonomic products with fancy looking products on which the product manufacturers thrive.

For some the best ergonomic products in the market today you can visit the dedicated e-store at http://www.ergo-items.com. Ergonomic computer products for the office including ergonomic keyboards, ergo arm-rest, ergo mouse-cursor support, ergo stickers. The website also has many Computer safety ergonomic products for the workstation.

I like to write down a “to do” list for the day. I guess it comes from years of teaching school and making lesson plans. The list keeps me focused and shows my progress. I can see that I’ve accomplished more than I realized.

I had an idea for something new to add to my list - a daily scripture. When I am doing my daily Bible reading in the morning, there is often a verse that really stands out. It may be something to praise God for, a comforting promise, or a quality I need to develop.

So now, after I write out my list for the day, I’m going to write a scripture in the top margin of the paper. That way, every time I look at my chores, I can read over the scripture, or even turn it inot a prayer. Maybe by the end of the day, I’ll have it permanently memorized. By the end of even one month, there would be thirty verses etched into my heart, ready to be recalled when needed.

Hopefully, this idea will help you to cover your day with the power of scripture.

They are out there. They may either be your boss, college professor, business partner, landlord, or even your own spouse, children, siblings or parents. Anyone can be a difficult person to someone else.

You may not admit it — but at one time or another; all of us have been difficult people to other people. It is vital to see if you are in a situation with a difficult person or if you yourself are beginning to be one. The first solution to any problem is recognizing the problem.

Most times, difficult people do not realize they are difficult. They don’t see that they are demanding too much from other people. They think their attitude is just normal. Likewise, some of their victims may not see that they are dealing with difficult people.

It’s vital that at this early point, we grasp the fact that avoiding difficult people does not solve the problem in question. As earlier mentioned, these people are everywhere. There is no privacy they cannot invade.

Ironically, the more successful you get the more difficult people you have to meet and cope with. Coping with difficult people might even be considered an essential skill to getting and staying successful in your life.

If you enjoy sailing in the sea you have to get used to its moods. The key is not to stay out of it but to learn to sail smoothly through thick and thin. Likewise, it is learning how to deal with a difficult person that gives you smooth sailing amid a storm.

Once you master this, difficult people will start liking you.

So what makes a difficult person difficult? Everyone out there is fighting a life battle of some kind. The battles may be fierce or mild. Different people have different stress tolerance. When people reach a state of high confusion and overwhelm, they become difficult. They, then, unconsciously project their frustration on you.

As a psychologist, my business is actually in dealing with difficult people, trying to make them less difficult. Once people become aware of their own inner pain, they begin to see how they bludgeon others with it, often unconsciously. Their lives are falling apart because they are critical, judgmental, and hostile to themselves and other people. Everything I do in a session is designed for only one purpose: to make them self-aware.

Given this opportunity to see other people more deeply, I have found the best way to stay objective enough to help them is to follow the advice of Don Miguel Ruiz, a brilliant philosopher. He said that everyone is living in their own dream, their own version of reality. You have to understand that everything they are saying about you is only a projection from that state of unawareness. In fact, they do not see you at all, only their interpretation of what someone like you means to them. Thus, he advised–do not take things personally.

If you base your values and your meanings on someone else’s point of view, you have merely traded in your own uniqueness and become imprisoned in their dream. You are letting them define you. No one can truly understand you…for they do not know you well enough to do it.

Once you really get this perspective, you can allow yourself the freedom to see them as they are–i.e. upset about something that has nothing to do with you but over something that is bothering them. They are experiencing something about you that does not even exist in your reality.

Often, too, they do not even use the same words in the same way you do. Let me give you a simple example of the often invisible linguistic barrier that arises between people. Yesterday, I was having a discussion with someone about “consciousness.” She argued that it had no value for her. This was puzzling to me…because what I was witnessing was a being that was animated because of consciousness. After some investigation, I finally understood that she had narrowed the word down to mean “figuring things out.” Thus, while I was defining the word as “sentience, life-force, and awareness,” she was defining it as “limited, circuitous thinking.”

Thus, even when two people are discussing what appears to be the same topic, they are actually talking about two completely different things. Each in their own minds are convinced that they are correct–because each is viewing something that is perfectly aligned with their own precepts and own vision.

The best way to cope with difficult people is to not take what they have to say personally.

If this does not make sense to you, consider the following.

Difficult people are difficult because:

(a) They project their inner pain on you; and you just happen to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. (b) They do not even experience you as you are; but only interpret you a certain way because of their limited experience of you. (c) They do not even see you as you are; but are only caught up in a dream state of what someone like you stirs up in them. (d) They do not even hear the words you say; but are only interpreting the meaning of your words according to their own hidden definition.

Thus, when you really look at it deeply, it is not wise to take things personally. Once you remain free of getting stuck in their view of you, then you can intuitively understand how to cope with the situation.

To help you locate the best theatre deals offered, you will need to look at all the benefits included in the deal & make certain that the terms and conditions are acceptable.

Maybe the easiest way in which to find theatre offers is to use the internet. Here you can find sites that specialise in the selling of theatre show tickets simply by using Internet search engines like that of Google, Yahoo or Bing, or alternatively through Internet directories such as the Open Directory and Yahoo.

These theatre sites will by and large allow you to look for packages based upon preferences such as the theatre play you want to go to see, the date, performance, book-in date, quantity of nights, type of room, and travel choices. The search engines will present all the theatre packages to be had that match your requests together with price details.

In general the worth of the price cut will rise with the amount of items that you want to add in the theatre package, as this allows the theatre business selling the package to cut more while still resulting in a profit. This means that when you add train travel in your deal you will receive a lot better savings markdown.

It is recommended that you check to see if the organisation or internet site offers to better the prices of all its competitors. Clearly this is a good way of making sure that you are getting hold of the best possible price from the tons of theatre packages sold. You have to guarantee though that what you are comparing is identical in regards of overall benefits when considering theatre packages.
